I thought this was a way more viable option than the Broncos when everything hit the fan before the draft. It amazed me how little it was mentioned by the talking heads. But it makes way too much sense and therefore it won’t happen…

I’ve never been a Carr guy, and I’ve never understood why they would want him. However, this does make a fair bit of sense. As usual, you provide a unique take that is well thought out and reasoned. Thanks!

Here’s a fun fact. Both Derek Carr and Jordan Love are from Bakersfield, California. They went to different HS. Carr, Bakersfield Christian, Love, Liberty. Not sure if they know each other.

The AFC west is the perfect place to ship Rodgers. Brett Favre couldn’t beat a young Tom Brady while a member of the Jets. And I don’t see Rodgers beating a young Patrick Mahomes in either Denver or Las Vegas. If Jordan Love can play we don’t need the very average Derek Carr. Jerry Jeudy would make more sense with Davante Adams impending FA. If Love can’t play then we’ll need either Carr or Drew Lock. And therein lies the problem. Until we know what we have with Love, good or bad, it’s all speculation. Desperation sets in after the season if Jon Gruden doesn’t make the playoffs this being the 5th of a 10 year plan. They’ll need to make a big splash in LV.

I see no need to make Aaron Rodgers happy. He hasn’t been happy since before Big Mike got fired. It isn’t Murphy’s job to make him happy. That’s Shailene Woodley’s job. Or perhaps Miles Teller.

They do know each other as both Carr brothers are active in a sports training outfit that Love used. I live in Bakersfield
